If system hangs about 2 or 3 minutes at startup, where you can't access the Start
button or the Taskbar, it may be due to one specific service (Background Intelligent
Transfer) running in the background. Microsoft also put out a patch for this but you can also resolve the problem manually.
Step 1: Go to Start >Run type 'msconfig', then click 'OK'.
Step 2: Go to the 'Services' tab
Step 3: Go to 'Background Intelligent Transfer' service.
Step 4: Disable it, apply the changes & reboot.
Step 5: Done
