Disable Dr. Watson for Windows (Drwtsn32.exe) in Windows XP

Dr. Watson for Windows (Drwtsn32.exe) is a program error debugger that gathers information about your computer when an error occurs with a program. monitors your computer for both user-mode and kernel-mode faults ("stop" error messages or error messages that are displayed on a blue screen, as well as improper shutdown events) that affect both the operating system and any programs. This service allows you to send error reports to Microsoft when an error occurs

Step 1:

Go to Start Menu ---> Run Dialogue Box and type regedit

Step 2:

Press Enter. The Group Policy window will be appeared.

Step 3:

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ AeDebug

Step 4:

Set the value as 0.

Step 5:

Close Registry & Restart for changes to take effect.
