Speed Up Windows Shut Down in XP

Step 1:

Go to Start Menu ---> Run Dialogue Box and type regedit

Step 2:

Press Enter. The Group Policy window will be appeared.

Step 3:

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control

Step 4:

Set the value lower than 2000 such as 400

Step 5:

Close Registry & Restart for changes to take effect.
