Disable Windows Ballon Tips on Windows XP

Step 1:

Go to Start Menu ---> Run Dialogue Box and type gpedit.msc

Step 2:

Press Enter. The Group Policy window will be appeared.

Step 3:

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\

Step 4:

Create a DWORD value of EnableBalloonTips

Step 5:

Set the value as 0.

Step 6:

Close Registry & Restart for changes to take effect.
